The Presbyterian Church (USA) has chosen a new moderator, favoring the centrist over the two conservative and one liberal candatates. I'm personally hoping that this sets the tone for how the next 10 days go. Joan Gray won on the third ballot with 62% of the vote.Among other things, Gray believes that "...Jesus is the way, truth and life, but I’m willing to give God a lot of leeway in matters I don’t fully understand." In addition she is unwilling to change ordination standards in light of what she believes to be true.
